February 14th Tuesday Tales Prompt Heart.

Someone asked if I would be their Valentine.  I said I was flattered, but my heart is given to another.

in in the end,” she said with hard determination.

I shrugged.  “Again I am flattered, but I’m not giving up my relationship with my long time partner and best friend for you.”

Her brown doe like eyes flashed not really with anger, but determination.  She repeated again, “I will win, I will have you.”

That statement took me aback.  I was feeling less flattered and more stalked.  I quickly took mental notes of the situation.  Finally I thought of something to say.  “You may be waiting for a while, dearie.    Love has a dangerous side in its Yin and Yang.

I had to figure out what this situation involved.  I admit she is beautiful, I feel the heat in my body when she’s around but would not give up my love for her on a rational scale.  Yes, I am trying to make love rational and keep my heart in its place.
