The Elusive Cockroach

I grew up in Brooklyn.  You can’t escape cockroaches there, no matter how clean you are.  There is a cockroach I have been chasing around my Tucson apartment for four days now.

Either I am getting old, or this little bugger is rather elusive.  I keep missing!  I think I know where you are hiding.  Two cats and they have had no luck.

For you movie lovers out there, you have The Quiet Man, where the priest, Father Lonegan has been trying to catch the same fish for ten years.

Then I keep remembering, they have been here for 350 million years and will probably outlast us.  Sounds like the beginning of a bad horror movie.

There is always the Doctor Demento song The Cockroach That Ate Cincinnati.
