Facebook and Image.

I thought of more with Facebook and Image.  Again, you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

I tend not to post much personal stuff, mostly my writing and my off beat sense of humor.  If you have a page, future and present employers can and may look at your Facebook page.  I would advise a young person to be careful, but at my age, my attitude has become; “This is me, if you reject me because of this, you may have figured I would not fit the people there and you may have saved having to fire me later.

OK, so you decide NOT to have a Facebook page.  Think several steps ahead though.  If I were an employer, especially looking at a young person, I would wonder two things:

1.  Are they anti-social?

2.  What are they hiding?

Companies with company psychologists would have a field day with this.
