French sitcoms in Brooklyn?  I read about this in the New York Times.  The show is called Brooklyn Taxi.  Who wouldda thunk lol!

I am proud I come from Brooklyn.  One American in seven has a Brooklyn connection.   It’s a very different place from the one I was raised in.

The last time I was back was for the memorial for my Dad Marvin Charton, in April, 2012.  I discovered I’ve been away long enough, so to most in Brooklyn I am an outsider.  To people, who still think I have a Brooklyn accent, they could guess my age, within a few years.  Even the Brooklyn accent is changing.

The Barclay Center was new, and there are all sorts of hip neighborhoods.  It is familiar, but were it not for family, I’m an outsider now.
