“We’re meeting your sister and your nieces at Butter.”

I looked at my mother quizzically.   “You mean they are coming out here, you are taking out salted butter and we are eating just that?  Pretty bad for our diets, don’t you think?”

Because I am a wise ass, Mom hit me.  Par for the course.  Get it course as in meal?  I feel some smacks coming.

Butter Restaurant is located at 70 West 45th Street in Manhattan, between Fifth and Sixth Avenue.  The Executive Chef, Alex Guarnaschelli is a star from Food Network.  She took the time to come over to our table.  I recognized her.  I enjoyed speaking to her in French, well she brought it up.  Not every day, you meet an Iron Chef star from Food Network.  Then again, I was the only guy at the table with six females.  They are family, so I was still girl watching, but always know what I have.

Now, that I’ve been star struck, the food.  The food is worth it.  I will write a review on Trip Advisor later and may post it here later.

The food is excellent, the service friendly and helpful.  Enjoyed being able to share with family.  Thank you again, Chef Alex, for coming over.

My only complaint was atmosphere.  Hard to hear conversations and dark by the bathrooms, so hard to read they were all unisex.
