For many years, we’ve met friends at Dim Sum in New York City’s Chinatown. Dim Sum is great food and great company.
For years, we went to the Nice Restaurant on East Broadway. They have since closed, so now we go to Chatham Square Restaurant at 6 Chatham Square. The infamous Dr. Toothy, cut down the size of his sign. Good to know he was still in business and no one took a bite out of him. Across from the restaurant is the arch commemorating the sacrifice of Chinese-American soldiers in our wars. There is the statue of Lin Zexu, ironic, as he fought against Westerners. There is Confucius, of course.
Dim Sum is lots of food, tea and fun. I consider it a New York experience.
