New Building in Brooklyn.

My Mom has been telling me about proposed new buildings on the Brooklyn Waterfront, below where she lives, and where I grew up.  Click on New York Times, for more.

Mom tells me, you can’t insurance.  Makes sense.  Why?  Because it is right on the water, and to make it work, it will have to be built down to bedrock.  Like the Flintstones, down in Bedrock.

This should prove interesting.  The twentieth floor is now the first floor with plenty of sub basements.  You can’t build new subway stations down there, half of it is landfill anyway.

Where are they going to shoe horn more buildings in?  This should prove interesting.

The sewers on Furman Street are also not up to par.

More greed.

I enjoy good food, flirtation, beautiful women (I am happily married for thirty years), so just flirting ;) I was considered autistic when I was young, trying to figure out if I have a mild form of Aspergers and learning from that. That is for future posts. You can also see I love history. Enjoy my sarcastic silly look at the world, and making History more interesting than a textbook.
